The Tulane Green Wave (7-6, 0-1 C-USA) return home after a three game road trip to take on the UAB Blazers (9-7, 1-1 C- USA).

Tulane is coached by Dave Dickerson, who is in his second year as head coach of the Green Wave. UAB is coached by former Indiana Hoosier coach and Fayette, AL. native Mike Davis, who in his first year.

Tulane is led by top scorers Junior David Gomez (15.7 points per game) and freshman Kevin Sims (10.0 points per game).

UAB is led by Wen Mukubu (14.4 points per game), Paul Delaney, III (17.4 points per game), Lawrence Kinnard (12.1 points per game and 5.7 boards per game) and freshman sensation Jeremy Mayfield.

UAB will be looking to improve its conference record to 2-1 and obtain their first road win since winning at Cincinnati 59-57 on December 2, 2006. For the Blazers to steal a conference game on the road today, they must come out playing with a lot more energy than they did against UCF Wednesday night. UAB turned up the heat and put on a furious rally to tie the UCF game in regulation and secure the victory in overtime. That will not happen on the road in conference play. UAB can win this game if they play wire to wire like they did against the University of Florida in the Orange Bowl classic. UAB has more weapons and more experience and should win this game on paper. This game should simply come down to who wants it the most.

Prediction: UAB 70 - Tulane 65
