Listening to their 17-0 run in front of a packed house @ Marshall, it was amazing at how quickly a 3 point deficit became a 14 point lead. Every time the Herd tried to put together a run the Tigers had an answer to quiet the crowd.

The loss @ UTEP was ugly, but when looking at the entire season the Blazers have the best chance at making the tourney of any C-USA team not named Memphis.

Miner fans will hate that they did not move up more, but when you look at this from a season-long perspective UTEP is not the #2 team in the conference. Not yet at least.

Starting to round into form again with 6 straight wins. If they run the table, do they get back into NCAA hunt?

They get this spot by default as no other team deserves it. Tulane, UCF, Tulsa and SMU got a look for #5, but each of those teams has very unimpressive resumes. As a result the Owls take the #5 spot in the CUSA-fans.com Power 5 rankings.
