Unique to sites on the -Fans Network, the BAR (Board Activity Rank) helps fans determine the current amount of activity on the message boards at that site. While the number of members and the number of topics/posts listed on these sports message boards & forums is one way to see how active a board is, these numbers alone can be outdated and do not always give a accurate representation.
All numbers and rankings have been compiled in comparison to ALL college sports message boards by the -Fans Network staff. Rankings do not change from one conference to another or one school to another and are intended to be consistent across the board.
While we would like to think that every BAR is 100% accurate we do realize that sports message boards and forums spike at times due to increased excitement (or outrage) towards a team, coach, or school.
